Per la prima volta nella storia di Triggiano, durante la Cerimonia di consegna delle chiavi alla patrona di Triggiano, seguendo un rituale che si ripete da decenni, il primo cittadino è accompagnato (e per la consegna dei ceri sostituito) dal corrispettivo della città di Addison [Illinois].
Una particolare variazione al rigido cerimoniale, che dà il senso di apertura e comunione di intenti che si è stabilita concretamente tra le due comunità italo- americane.
For the first time in the history of Triggiano, during the ceremony of handing over the keys to the patron saint of Triggiano, following a ritual that has been repeated for decades, the mayor was accompanied (and for the delivery of the candles replaced) to the same role of the City of Addison [Illinois].
A particular change to the rigid ceremonial, which gives the sense of openness and common purpose that has been established in practice between the two Italian-American communities. |
